As long as we are still on this Earth, we owe it to ourselves and those who are no longer with us to be GREAT! We owe it to our communities to be financially supportive. We owe it to ourselves and our ancestors to go back to our African spirituality. Yes, we are magical and they fear us. Our spirituality is so powerful even some of us fear to read into it.

What is happening and has been happening to us for years is heartbreaking and depressing. However, I’m using this to push myself even harder. My success in all areas in my life will make a difference.

We all are in this war together and we all have unique strengths to fight it together. I truly believe in us. Believing is what keeps me going. Believing is what keeps my spirit alive. Believing is what makes me think of solutions to beat these savages. Believing is what makes me love us more every single day. Believing is what keeps me sane.

I needed some time to gather my thoughts and recharge (I will definitely write a separate “update” post). In the meantime, I wanted to share some photos from a photo shoot. Beauty Review: Skinnamon Body + Face Coffee Scrub

I really get a kick out of creating my own beauty concoctions using natural ingredients. However, once in a blue, I like to try other people’s healthy beauty products. I came across Skinnamon online and I was eager to try it out because the product is composed of ingredients that fit right in with my lifestyle! Skinnamon Body + Face Coffee Scrub is an all natural product that promises to help you fight cellulite, stretch marks, eczema, acne and dry skin. Intrigued by all that the statement promised, I decided to test out the product.

Oh my goodness! The smell of the fresh coffee bean is amazing! It made me want to eat it right out of the bag and I don’t even drink coffee!

I followed the directions, used the wooden spoon it came with and applied the product from the feet up, in a circular motion. I was very gentle with my face and lips and kept the product on for 5 minutes then rinsed it off with warm water ( I also did a final cool rinse – this is part of my beauty regimen but optional for you). Following my shower, I was introduced to much softer, radiant and dewy skin!

note* You might want to apply the product while in the bathtub as it can get a little messy.

This product left my skin super hydrated. I moisturized after the shower as directed but, I really felt like I could have skipped that step. The natural oils from this product permeated my skin without leaving my skin greasy. It was just the perfect blend. I normally have oily and acne prone skin, but this product helped balance the oil my skin naturally produces.

Cadillac Capsule Collection Launch Party

Cadillac has expanded into the fashion territory with a special collection looks curated by men’s fashion mogul Nick Wooster.

On September 1st, 2015 Cadillac and Nick Wooster launched their collaborated capsule collection at the Classic Car Club in New York City. The Cadillac Capsule Collection is comprised of pieces from the Fall/Winter 2015 collections. The collection is from a variety of menswear designers, such as Cadet, Carlos Campos, David Hart, Ernest Alexander, Gents, J. Lindeberg, Mark McNairy New Amsterdam, PLAC, and Timo Weiland , who had the opportunity to show their collection at the New York Men’s Day. Pieces from each designers’ look is now available on gilt.com.

I had the opportunity to meet with Eneuri Acosta (Lifestyle, Influencer, Partnership Communications for Cadillac). He was so excited about the success of the event. It took him only 11 months to plan. Hats off to Eneuri for bringing to life such an innovative and progressive vision. The event was an absolute success!
